Clear Skin Solutions Right Under Your Nose
Acne can be thought of as tiny skin lesions which inflame the skin. They’re caused by clogged or infected pores. And they can appear on any part of your body, e.g. face, back, chest, or neck.
People with truly clear skin are in the minority as acne affects almost everyone – every race and every age. In fact, it’s been around for centuries. Even the ancient Greeks had acne.
Acne (or Pimples as we commonly refer to it) usually appears on the face in a form of a whitehead, blackhead or a red bump. In many cases there are multiple breakouts. And extremely bad acne often needs to be treated by a doctor or dermatologist as normal over-the-counter clear skin products won’t suffice.
Attaining clear skin right away is what every acne sufferer wants but that is often not possible. To have clear skin, takes a little bit of discipline – acne can’t be beaten in just a few days. You’ll never tame your acne with a single clear skin treatment. But if you can stick to it, you have a great chance of winning the acne war.
Sometimes expensive, high-end products can help but curing acne doesn’t have to be expensive. For instance, it’s quite possible to use simple, every-day household ingredients to combat your breakouts. Sometimes the best acne products are the simplest and most inexpensive – you can get clear skin without complicated chemical formulas.
Here are some home remedies for acne.
• Baking soda mask- All you need is baking soda, (not baking powder), and water. After washing your face, mix a little bit of baking soda and water together. Let it set up a it and then apply it as a mask. Let is sit for 5-7 minutes until dry then wash it off. Do this at least twice a week.
• Oatmeal mask- Cook a single serving of plain oatmeal. Add honey and mix. Apply it to your face and leave on for 10-15 minutes. Then wash it off. Oatmeal is a great cleanser for the face. It absorbs oil and exfoliates your skin. Do this at least twice a week for the best results.
• Egg yolk mask- Use a simple egg white. Crack it open and then separate the egg white from the yolk. Once separated, apply the egg white to your face and let it sit for about 20 mins, and then wash it off.
• Salt Mask- Make a small mixture of salt and water and then use it to wash your face – gently. Do this at least one a week.
• Lemon Juice and rose water- mix equal parts of lemon juice and rose water, apply directly to your skin. Be aware that there’s a little stinging sensation that goes with it. Rinse right away.
